I should have brought an extra pair of pants.

Poor Clara. We went to a birthday party at the children's museum and Clara was having so much fun playing that she forgot to tell me in time that she had to go pee. By the time she ran to tell me, all of a sudden it came pouring out all over her pants. She was so upset. I brought her in to the bathroom and took off her pants and forced her to put on Reid's jacket upside down. She was so embarrassed to be wearing such a thing that she screamed and made me hold her in a corner where no one could see her. I got her to get down for a second and that is when I hurried a snapped this photo. Immediately after this photo she ran back to me crying. I felt so bad for her. I thought to go buy her some pants in the mall, but I worried that by the time I got her back the party would be over. She kept saying I should have brought extra pants. And I really should have. Reid had a lot of fun though and so did Clara until the accident:(

Valentines day at preschool

Clara's preschool had a parent day on the day they passed out their valentines. Here she is holding up her valentine she made for me and singing the "skitter a dink a dink a do, I love you" song.
They decorated cookies and then ate them. I remember Reid doing this and you couldn't even see his cookie by the time he was done decorating it because he piled so many sprinkles on it and then he didn't even eat it. He always handed it to me after decorating it and said "save this mommy." On the other hand, Clara just decorated it a little bit and then enjoyed eating it. Just as I would do. Get to the good part fast.

Here she is singing again. However, Clara rarely sings. Every once in a while I see her say a word. I see her singing when I am not there through the one way window, but when I am there she gets shy.

Classic Fun Center

We went to a birthday party at the classic fun center last weekend. The kids loved skating and riding their scooters. Alvin loved the balloons. Who needs a fun center when you can just play with balloons:)
Reid on his scooter. He tried skating as well, but didn't get very far very fast so he went back to the scooter.

Clara on her skates. She didn't get very far very fast on the skates or the scooter, but had lots of fun anyway.

The New and Improved Tree house.

We went to the University Mall Tree house today. They tore it down over a year ago and rebuilt it, so we have missed having it, but now it is back and a lot more fun. They now have a big dinosaur for the kids to climb on, other fun things to climb on, and a big water ball that the kids love too.
Here is the same old tree house, but my kids still love it.

Alvin had lots of fun crawling around, which made me cringe thinking of him on that nasty floor.

Here's my little cutie. He has been saying "Uh oh" lately and waving. So cute.

Why I haven't been blogging.

There are many reasons why I haven't had time to blog or take pictures lately, but a big reason is this little stinker. For the last 3 months he has been such a fussy baby. He cries the second I put him down and he hasn't been taking very good naps. In the last 3 months he has had 2 ear infections, gotten 2 more teeth, been constipated, and on the verge of crawling. This all equals a very fussy baby. Although, this week I am seeing a light at the end of this very dark tunnel. As you can kind of see in this picture he is now crawling, his second top tooth came through today, and after the enema and the miralax for the next month his bowels are moving:). I have never been so happy to see poo in my life. Anyway, let's just say that this 3rd child has been a challenge for our family, but we are living through it. Don't get me wrong I love Alvin more than anything and couldn't imagine my life without him, especially the last two days since he has been a lot happier:). I have had my fair share of bowel problems, so I don't blame him for being difficult. Anyway, hopefully he will stay happy for a while.
Fussy or not isn't he the cutest little boy? Alvin is now 10 months old.

What is this mask for?

The other day Clara came home from preschool with this medical mask and I asked her what it was for and she said "My teacher said you put it like this on two ears and you wear it so you don't chew on other people." Good thing we have one now, because I wouldn't want my daughter to be chewing on other people.

Forgotten photos

This is not a very exciting post, but I forgot to post these pictures after Christmas. This is David and I at one of my best friend, Bev's, sister's wedding reception. Bev lives in California so it was so much fun to see her. We didn't stop talking all night. We had a lot to catch up on. The reception was beautiful. Her sister Amelia rents my basement salon a couple hours a week.
Bev and I. I have not been taking pictures since Christmas so I hope to start taking some to have some more posts soon.
