We saw this Ferrari parked at the Gold's Gym by our house so we had to stop for Reid to get a picture by it.
Remember a couple of posts ago how fun I thought our hot tub was. Well... this week Reid slipped while playing in it and split his chin open. He had to get 2 stitches. He was very brave he didn't even cry. He only cried when I told him we had to go to the doctor, but once we were there he didn't cry once. This is a big accomplishment for Reid, because he usually has a very hard time when he gets hurt.
New Shoes.... Reid and Clara got new shoes last week for school, but I told them they can't wear them outside until school starts. So now they never want to leave the house, and when we do leave the house they can hardly wait to get home. We let our kids have one toy in their bed when they go to sleep and lately they both want their new shoes. Sometimes we catch Clara sleeping in hers. Reid is extra excited as well because he has learned to tie his shoes by himself so he is constantly tieing and un tieing his.
We went swimming this week with my friend Amy and her kids. Like I said before her kids are all my kids ages and the same sexes. This is her little boy Max who is 5 weeks younger than Alvin. Look how big Alvin looks.
This is Amy's kids Ella and Sam and my kids Reid and Clara.
On the 24th of July we went to a carnival in spanish fork. My car said it was 113 degrees that day so it was a little too hot to enjoy the carnival. It was so hot that when Clara got off this ride she touched her hamstring area on some metal and had a huge burn on her leg. It looked really painful.

Thanks for the Memories

I saw this on my friend's blog and it seems fun.
Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together, or one of the first memories you have of me. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I think it'll be interesting and fun to see what memories you write!

Doing hair at my mom's

This is "my Lady", Amy. We call eachother Lady(I don't remember why). We have known eachother since middle school and we became best friends in Highschool. She finally moved back to Utah. She was just living in Arizona and we finally get to live in the same state again. We were inseparable until I went on my mission and she got married. So we are pretty excited to hang out more again. We do everything the same. Whenever we get together we are either wearing twin outfits, our kids are wearing the same outfits, or we are giving the same gift at a shower. We are always finding more and more things we do the same even though we live far away from eachother. We think we were separated at birth. We both have 3 kids and all of them are born within months of eachother and they all are the same sexes. We will have some pretty fun play dates. Anyway I did her hair the other day at my mom's house and my mom has this hood dryer at her house for when I do hair there(what a nice mom). Amy and I were dying because the hood dryer is called "Lady Dazey" Perfect for "My Lady" to sit under.
Another funny photo of me washing Amy's hair in the sink. Amy is 5 foot 10 and so her legs hung way over the counter. I usually do my client Nahir's hair at my mom's and she is 5 foot 2, so she fits perfectly, not Amy.
We keep our hot tub cool in the summer time and my kids love to swim in it. It gives me something to do with them that is easy with Alvin. I just sit outside the hot tub with Alvin.

More pictures from Alvin's baby blessing

The whole Hazar Family and my Parents. (I just noticed Reid isn't in the picture, i have no idea where he was, that's scary)
David and the kids right before church.
Some of the food we had afterwards. I made a buffet of rice crispy treats. I made 5 different flavors. Mint oreo, white chocolate dipped, mini m&m's, ones with fruit loops indoors, and golden graham smore like ones. Yummy! I love rice crispy treats.

Alvin in the Johnny Jump Up

(Hint: turn off the playlist at the very bottom of the page to hear the video better) Here is Alvin at 3 and a half months in the Johnny Jump up. This might be boring to some of you, but I thought my family would like to see it. I was looking back at Clara and Reid's baby books and Alvin weighs right now at 3 and a half months what Clara and Reid weighed at 6 months, 16lbs.. He is going to get really hard to carry if he keeps this up. He is starting to try to grab stuff. This is when it really gets fun. I love how he now holds on to my shirt while he is nursing. So cute. I love it now that he recognizes me so well now.

Dinosaur Museum

Last week we went to the Dinosaur Museum at thankgiving point. My kids really liked it. This was our first time going and I was really impressed. We will be going more often now. Their favorite parts were playing in the sand, and Reid really like going through the stars, so we had to walk through that part over and over, but Clara didn't like it so she closed her eyes. It was dark and had an echo.

4th of July and Alvin's blessing day

I haven't written in a while because we have been pretty busy. We had all of David's family in town over the 4th of July for Alvin's blessing on the 6th. Here is what we did... (My mother-in-law is going to send me the pictures that she took this weekend so I might be posting more from this time later)
I love living in Provo for the 4th of July weekend, because there is so much to do. For 3 days straight they have a balloon fest with tons of hotair balloons. They take off every morning and usually end up right above our house and sometimes they land in the park across from our house. In these pictures we went to watch them take off. We usually do that one of the mornings and then just watch them over our house the other 2 mornings. My kids are in heaven watching them take off. They can hardly wait to wake up in the morning to run outside to see if there are any above our house.

There is a great parade in provo on the 4th of july as well, but we didn't end up going this year because we went to the stadium of fire that night so we didn't want the kids to wake up early that day since they were going to be up late that night. This picture is at the carnival in provo on the 4th of July, which this year wasn't as fun because they had very few rides. Here is one of the 2 they had. I took Reid that night to the Stadium of Fire and David stayed home with Clara and Alvin. Clara does not do well when she is tired so we let her stay home and go to bed. Although ever since she keeps saying..."I'm big enough to see Hannah Montana now?" And she recognizes Miley's songs right away whenever she hears them. So she would have probably loved it. Reid was loving the Jets that flew over and the sky divers. The whole rest of the show he kept asking me questions about them. I don't know if he paid any attention to anything else after he saw those jets. He kept saying... " Were those stealth bombers Mommy?" "Will those jets never drop bombs on us Mommy?" "Do jets never kill people Mommy?" "Are those the fastest jets in the world Mommy?" He could not stop thinking about the jets. Although he had plenty of questions once the fireworks came..."Can those fireworks never get us?" "Can the rain not even stop those fireworks mommy?"

These are all the grandkids on David's side. There are 8 under the age of 8. This is at my house on the day of Alvin's blessing.

Here they are again except for the 2 youngest.

This is my family. Only my older brother, his wife, and my parents could come to the blessing. Pack was out of town and Chauncy is selling security systems in Washington for the summer.

Here is Alvin on his blessing day. We got to church that morning and not one microphone was working in the whole chapel and then to make it even harder to hear David, Alvin cried through the whole thing. I was praying the whole time that he would stop so I didn't really listen to the blessing, but luckily my mother-in-law and sisters-in-law wrote it down so I could read it later. David gives such beautiful blessings. He is always so in tune with the spirit. I am so thankful that he can bless our children it is such a special thing.

Alvin 3 months old

Alvin is 3 months old now. He is so smiley and He laughs so much now. Reid and Clara are still obsessed with him. I thought the excitement would wear off by now, but no. He still takes a pacifier and a bottle, which my other kids stopped taking them by now. Lets hope he will stay this way. He is not sleeping through the night yet, but he did do it one time, so it is possible. It is so fun now that he is responding. I love his little coos and happy noises. He is also a very strong little guy. He seems stronger than my other kids. We are loving this little guy in our family. He is just what we wanted. We love him so much.
